Cardboard Camp - Arcade Style!

Join us for a week-long adventure in creativity and innovation! Cardboard Camp - Arcade Style! is a free summer camp for 8-12 year-olds where participants will design and build their own arcade games out of cardboard. Snacks and supplies will all be provided and on the last day, friends and family are invited to come and play the kids' arcade games and win prizes!

  • Age Group: 8-12 year olds
  • Dates: July 22nd - July 26th 
  • Location: Marion Bingham Room - Monday through Thursday, Hayes Auditorium on Friday 
  • Registration: Required

Camp Highlights:

  • Arcade Game Design: Participants will spend the week using tools from make.do to create their very own arcade games.
  • STEM Skills: Campers will develop key STEM skills including creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, collaboration, and communication.
  • Public Showcase: At the end of the week, the arcade games will be set up for the public, including friends, family, and other library patrons, to play and win prizes.

What to Bring: Just bring yourself! Snacks and all building materials will be provided.
