Board Wars is BACK! Assemble your closest companions and dive into a weekend-long adventure. Test your mettle, stamina, and camaraderie as you develop and prototype a playable board game in just 48 short hours. This year the event will be taking place at the Library at Hillcrest starting Friday, July 12 at 6:00 p.m. and wrapping up on Sunday, July 14 at 6:00 p.m.

Registered teams will receive one (1) full-event passes to Gem State Gaming Convention the next weekend (Friday, July 19 - Sunday, July 21), where they can share their game with other enthusiasts for playtesting and final judging. Participants who enter their game for judging at Gem State will be eligible for prizes and most importantly, glory!

Game creation supplies and snacks will be provided for participants, as well as pizza on Saturday and Sunday.

Board Wars 2024 is a collaboration between Phoenix Fire Games, Citizen Scientific Workshop, and Boise Public Library.
