Learn to Read Graphic Novels with Laura Wally

When you first hear the words graphic novel you probably immediately call to mind the Golden Age of Comic Books - heroes like Captain America or the Hulk leaping out of the page to tell another thrilling story of adventure - but in reality telling stories and conveying information through images has been around for as long as human history. Learning to read these images is not always as simple as learning to read a written language, but doing so can convey a wealth of knowledge that any reader with the right training understands intuitively. Join Laura Wally of Content Warning: The Podcast as she retells the history of graphic novels and teaches you to read and understand graphic literature with an expert's eye!
