Boise Raks - Presented by Starbelly School of Dance
Experience the vibrant rhythms and rich traditions of Egyptian dance as the Starbelly Dancers share Boise Raks with their youngest fans! Join us for a kid-friendly, interactive performance like the toe-tapping Baby Raks Shark(i), the silly and surprising Chicken and Banana, the lively Pony Dance, and a magical duet between Aladdin and Jasmine that invites little ones to imagine, move, and dream along. These playful dances are designed to get kids clapping, dancing, and joining in the fun!
Thanks to the support of the Boise City Department of Arts and History and presented by Starbelly School of Dance - starring the Starbelly Dancers - this celebration of movement and culture brings the beauty and energy of Raks Sharqi and Egyptian folkloric dance to the heart of Boise.
