BCAF XIV - Behind the Ban: Graphic Novel Creators Talk Censorship
Graphic novels remain among the most frequently challenged and banned books in the US. Join creator Jeremy Whitley, whose book The Dog Knight was just banned in Texas, PEN America member and creator Rye Hickman, and Comic Book Legal Defense Fund board member and writer Amy Chu for a discussion on the publishing and legal landscape of graphic novels today.
This special Boise Comic Arts Festival pre-event will be held at Future Public School (511 E 43rd St, Garden City, ID 83714). Attendees are welcome to park in the school lot. Entrance will be through the rear doors on the east side of the building.
