Poetry Out Loud Info Session

Calling all High School performers and/or poetry lovers! Come join the Boise Public Library for Poetry Out Loud, a poetry recitation competition that encourages 9th-12th grade students to learn about great poetry through memorization and performance.

This year BPL will host a local round of the competition and send one representative to the Idaho State Championship for a chance to win cash prizes and advance to the National Championship. Our local competition will be completely virtual, completely free, and open to all Treasure Valley students in grades 9-12!

For more details, please register for a Zoom info session on Wednesday, January 20; Thursday, January 21; or Wednesday, January 27.

Once you have registered for a Poetry Out Loud informational session, you will receive a reminder the day before your session that includes your Zoom invitation.
